Howard Libauer, Shangai, China
Howard Libauer has spent almost a quarter of a century in ASIA, mostly in China, primarily heading up manufacturing operations for multinational and regional corporations, or heading up finance and banking operations, for example IWKA (packaging), Thyssen Krupp (plastics), Mepro Electric (personal care), Hong Nin Bank (banking). He is a veteran top management executive and has a wealth of experience in General Management, Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, as well as in Marketing and Sales.

Howard is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin) and additionally speaks French, Hindi, some Spanish and a smattering of Russian, travels extensively throughout China, its boarding countries and virtually all of the Pacific-Rim and ASIA.

He is currently the General Manager of IWKA in China (Shanghai). IWKA is a pharmaceutical and dairy packaging equipment manufacturer headquartered in Germany. Earlier on Howard headed up manufacturing operations in China for firms like Thyssen Krupp. Even earlier on Howard was actively engaged in promoting several initial public offerings in Hong Kong in the packaging (canning) and other manufacturing industries. His early career involved ten years in the banking industry with firms like the American Security Bank in Washington, DC, the Chase Manhattan Bank in New York and Singapore, the Banking Commissioner of Hong Kong, and the North Carolina National Bank in Hong Kong

Howard holds BA and MA degrees from Johns Hopkins University, and additionally completed graduate financial programs at both NYU in New York and Loyola College in Baltimore. Howard is a citizen of the USA and resides in Shanghai, China.
