Vlado is a seasoned business executive, entrepreneur and consultant with a broad experience of over 30 years in naval architecture, ship building, cruise line operations and marine industry consulting.

During his career he has served in management and ownership positions ranging from project and sales management to managing director, partner as well as founder and ship line owner with diverse firms including The Inkobrod Shipyard, Navire Cargo Gear (later McGregor then KONE), Consafe AB, Phoenix Offshore Singapore, and Columbus Cruises Ltd; operating in Europe and S.E. Asia during his tenure.

As a consultant Vlado has advised ship-owners, shipyards and banking institutions on technical, contractual, financial and operational matters, mainly in Europe and more recently in North America. Vlado has had many diverse assignments including the design and contracting of four asphalt tankers in Croatia for an American owner, and the privatization of the Varna shipyard in Bulgaria. Additionally Vlado has conducted several feasibility studies, mainly in the cruise ship business while advising marine equipment producers on marketing, sales and contractual matters during the last few years.

Vlado speaks a number of languages including English, is a dual citizen of Sweden and Croatia and currently resides in Opatija, Croatia.
